Green Salsa Recipe

What you'll need for this easy recipe: - Jalapeños - Onion (red white or yellow) - Garlic - Lime juice - Oil - Salt

Begin by adding chopped onions, garlic, olive oil, lime juice and salt to a large bowl or food processor.

Next, boil the jalapeños. I boil them with the stems still attached so they retain their heat, but become lovely and soft.

Remove the boiled jalapeños from the hot water and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. I use tongs to remove them easily.

Carefully slice the stems off of the boiled jalapeño peppers. You may want to use a towel or a fork to hold the peppers steady.

Add the jalapeños to the other ingredients in the large bowl or food processor.

Blend until all of the other ingredients are pureed into a thick sauce. It will look creamy thanks to the olive oil that emulsifies.
